About Coach

Miranda Welle is the Director of Training and Operations at The Riot Strength & Conditioning Gym, known for her positive energy, strong work ethic, and passion for helping others succeed. As a proud mom of two and an Air Force spouse, she brings resilience, adaptability, and a strong sense of community into every class she leads.

Miranda coaches Power Hour, facilitates Strength Room training, and leads barbell classes, helping members build strength, confidence, and consistency in their training. With a diverse athletic background that includes soccer, functional fitness training, and Olympic lifting, she brings a well-rounded and practical approach to every session.

She is a licensed soccer coach and referee and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a focus on human health and lifestyle diseases. Her passion for nutrition and overall wellness allows her to support members beyond workouts, helping them create sustainable, healthy lifestyles.

Miranda’s experience as an EMT in Sacramento—where she frequently worked at sporting events—gives her a unique understanding of athlete performance, safety, and recovery. She uses this knowledge to create a training environment that is both effective and supportive.

Outside the gym, Miranda enjoys hiking and backpacking, fully embracing an active lifestyle. Her commitment to fitness, health, and community makes her an integral part of The Riot coaching team.
